Money is tight so I epoxied the 1 inch crack in the plastic tub but it has another and it's orig from 30 plus years.

How much damage should I expect if it needs to be replaced? $500-700?

TIA

The price depends more on installation costs and removal of the existing than the cost of the tub. To see the price of a tub, go to Home Depot or Lowes online.

If you can, get it installed by someone from San Diego or the IE...too expensive for everything in OC.

You can also have the tub delivered to your home and go to Thumbtack and find someone to do it...

You're gonna have to do the hard work of getting a minimum THREE quotes from licensed contractors to get a fair and accurate answer.

If you sell your job bid as 'the very bare minimum' it will be harder to get some fool to come out to your house.

Other operations will try to sell you on the F.U.D. of water damage, black mold, tile with nonexistent Thinset and how everything has to be re-done to be 'up to code'

The keywords you are looking for is 'small jobs welcome' on contractor listings.

The tub should be about $275, plus about a grand to install it. Then you have to tile.
