Laguna Niguel is also that strip of land that IMMEDIATELY abuts Laguna Beach but is shown as brown for some reason.

Isn't that part of Aliso and Wood Canyons?

Yes, part of it is AV.

Nope and if I did I'd sell it immediately and move into a 50 - 60 year old rancher in NW OC.

The areas OP is discussing outside of Nellie Gail are generally not that desirable. There, I spelled it out.
I didn't say LN was not by Laguna Beach. But it's out in the boonies. Next thing you know, you're passing Pendleton and coming into Oceanside. Compare how long it takes you to get to Irvine (or, heaven forbid ... gasp ... DTLA) vs someone in LH.

Actually, Laguna Niguel may look like it's in the boonies, but it's just a few minutes away from Laguna Hills. To put things into some sort of perspective, Aliso Viejo (Not the most well known of cities, but hey) is a short drive away from Irvine, and it shares borders with Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel. AV also borders Laguna Beach.

South County cities are all very close to one another. Look at the map in Post #7.

Camp Pendleton is south of Orange County; and so is Oceanside.

Yeah, 5 minutes difference.

I used to live in Marina Hills, it's not out of the boonies, you can drive the inside road and get to Irvine, my husband used to work in Irvine, it took him 15-20 minutes. No need for freeway. It's also right next to Laguna Beach. I don't really like Laguna Hills, when I googled years ago there pocket of gangs. So that's why. Things may have changed.

I go to DTLA at times for work. We have toll roads in OC and in LA too (110). That's all I can say. Getting to DTLA is not a problem.
