Hi all,

Checking in to see if this is possible:

I may take a potential job in Victorville, CA. For a variety of family/personal reasons, we may be looking in the Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills area. It seems like this would be a reverse commute and Google puts it at around 1:05 - 1:30 currently, which would be similar to my current commute (which I don't really mind that much). Am I picturing this accurately or would the commute time be longer?

Thanks

I think the commute would be longer by at least 30-45 minutes most days. There is almost no such thing as a "reverse" commute these days. So Cal has lots of people going every which way every day.

The commute would be much worse.

why not live in cucamonga? Commute will be nuts from that area and untenable. Cucamonga would be barely tolerable

I think you would regret this greatly. The cajon pass can be hellish at times, if not closed altogether. There are a lot of nice places to live that put you somewhat in between - Rancho, Redlands, parts of riverside. Apple Valley if you want to be closer to work.
