My son has a great Computer Job in Rancho Santa Margarita but his girlfriend just moved out to there and doesn't know where to look for a job ?
She was an Art Teacher at a NYC High School & until her records are sent to Ca. she can't even begin to think about teaching in Ca. so.......she is looking for some kind of job in Rancho Santa Margarita ?

Does anyone know of any good job openings, opportunities or employment agencies in Rancho Santa Margarita ?

Most of the time, when you get on careerbuilder.com, there will be posts from agencies. One that I can refer is Adecco. Again, there are many, so have her spread herself out

Default Jobs in Rancho Santa Margarita ?

Thanks for the advice. Apparently she is still pounding the pavement in Rancho Santa Margarita but because they are so new to the area she just doesn't seem to be looking in the right places.
I get the impression that there is not a multitude of employment available in this area which I understand is quite residential & suburban but surely there most be some job openings in the area ?
I was just hoping that someone could point her in the right direction ?

I was placed through AppleOne Temp Agency to work at Cox Communications which has their HQ in Rancho Santa Marguerita. I don't believe there are any temp offices in RSM but there is an Apple One in the Laguna Hills Civic center which services most of Orange County. They are the largest temp agency I believe. Also there is a Kimco in Lake Forest. Marquee Staffing in Irvine. Kelly Services in Irvine as well. I sign up with many agencies so it makes it easy to find a job. Just do a google search for AppleOne, Kimco, Marquee Staffing, Kelly Services and you can get the phone number for the local office based on your zip code. There are lots of jobs around here. Good luck and let us know your progress.

Default Sounds like great tips

Thanks --- these sound like great tips.
I will forward these to her along with any other tips, advice, etc. that I may receive re: job openings/prospects in the RSM area ?
I don't know which towns are closest to RSM & might offer the best jobs nor do I know of any specific companies/jobs in RSM ( communications, telephone, goverment, retail, etc. ) that may have job openings now ?
I would still welcome any suggestions as to what work is available in RSM ?

I found my last two jobs on Find Jobs. Build a Better Career. Find Your Calling. | Monster.com...
I live in RSM, but work as a Paralegal at a law firm in Irvine. Jobs in RSM are scarce, although there are companies there. Cox Communications is a good bet, but the hiring process is very long (2 months sometimes) so she may want to get a "quick" part-time job to start and get her bearings. Not sure what career she wants to pursue, but teaching is SATURATED in CA. Most of our schools are cutting teachers, unfortunately. You know, family values and all... Sorry (rant)!
My friend just completed her MA in education and has been substituting since she can't get a full time position. Not even in the less appealing areas of Santa Ana, or LA! You don't need credentials to substitute teach, just a BA, and can choose the districts to apply (San Juan Capistrano Unified & Saddleback Valley Unified are in RSM). Nearby cities to look for work are: Mission Viejo, Foothill Ranch/Lake Forest, El Toro, Laguna Niguel. Irvine is the closest "semi-urban" center and you'll find more jobs there.
Good luck!

Default Thanks for the job tips

Thanks for the job tips. I particularly appreciated the tip about Cox Communications. My Son's girlfriend is in her late '20s & I am pretty certain that she is looking for any job prospect(s) ( office, retail/department store, etc. ) in RSM ?
I am still looking for the names of any specific companies/openings that may be hiring now for any specific positions in RSM ?

Thank to all

There are a number of large car dealerships in the area such as the Toyota Dealership of RSM which is directly across the street from Cox Communications on Avenida Empresa. According to their website it seems they are hiring for a wide variety of positions. Toyota of Rancho Santa Margarita is a Rancho Santa Margarita Toyota dealer and a new car and used car Rancho Santa Margarita CA Toyota dealership. (broken link)

I checked Family Honda, Family Nissan, and Santa Margarita Ford's websites but I could not find job information listed but it might be a good idea to ask them in person, they are all really close to one another on Empresa & Santa Margarita Pkwy.

There are also a number of large shopping centers with many retail stores and restaurants. Borders, Circuit City, Target, Kohls, Edwards Movie Theater, etc...

You can find them off of Avenida Las Flores and also El Paseo.

Thanks Again --- I am forwarding her all of these leads. I know that she is still looking however the longer I look the more it seems that RSM is not very Commercial. I can't even find local Banks or Offices to refer her to as a teller or receptionist ?
Heck, I can't even find a Office/Store like Verizons, T-Mobile, etc. in RSM ?
There must beat least some local Temp Jobs for her ?
