Hi All,

Is it possible for one to look for a 3-bed Condo/TH @ 325K in OC, or should I consider myself crazy running around with this figure?

Absolutley you can buy a condo for that price right now. You will not be anywhere near the beach, but you can buy for sure.

Get a realtor and you could even find some fixer upper single family homes in some ok areas as well for that price.

I just looked at a 3 bedroom condo in Laguna Niguel yesterday. It was $250 but needed a little work. Not a ton of work, but some. I wasn't crazy about the complex though. I've also seen some in Huntington Beach, so I know for sure they are out there. I'd recommend getting an agent to help you look. Good Luck

I'm a realtor in Orange County and I know there are definitely properties available for 350K. I'd be happy to send you what's available. Email me at cfleming@coldwellbanker.com and I'll forward to you the listings that are currently available. Please let me know the towns you are specifically interested in. Thanks! Cynthia

I'm assuming 3bd is about 1500sqft.. 325k for 1500sqft comes out to $216/sqft. That's not too far off from many condos on the market right now...so not crazy I would say.

There are many of them in RSM.

I have even seen 4/2 and 1500sft, right next to the lake, for example:

22 Montana Del Lago Dr #161, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 | $339,000 | Rancho Santa Margarita Central Real Estate | S545116
