Does anyone have anything to say about the neighborhood just north of HG Miller Golf course in Anaheim? It looks nice and clean on Google Street view, but local opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am planning to move to OC and this area's houses look about right for me. Thanks!

Be careful of the schools, most look average but a couple look really bad and one or two look good.

Dunno the neighborhood really well, but the golf course is colloquially known as Dad Miller

The area is heavily hispanic but has people of a number of nationalities. Lot's of ESL students. Most of the houses were built in the mid '50s to 70's. The apartments were built in the late 60's to 70's. There are gangs in the area. There are also a lot of hard working families who are trying to get a toe-hold with their first houses. A lot of the houses and apartments will have more than one family living in them.

It's close to the freeways. Most of the stores, outside of the Targets and Walmarts, are geared to the Hispanics and Asians. The Caucasians in that area are usually 2nd or 3rd generation in the area.

Think of Anaheim as a big city with all of the attending good and bad points.

BTW the Dad Miller Golf Course is where Tiger Woods learned to play. He built his Learning Center next to the golf course and everything about it is first rate. Computers. Career counseling, etc.
