Does anyone remember that song from the Fred Meyer's commercials they used to show around Thanksgiving and Christmas? It is about how they are:

"home again for the holidays,
my favorite time of year,
yes it's so nice to come home..."

I can't find any version of this on youtube or info on webpages, and Fred Meyer's marketing department didn't respond to my question. Does anyone else remember this commercial or have information about what the song is called and where I can hear it again.

Thanks!

Is this the one?

Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays

'Cause no matter how far away you roam

When you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze

For the holidays, you can't beat home, sweet home

I met a man who lived in Tennessee

And he was headin for Pennsylvania

And some home made pumpkin pie

From Pennsylvania folks a travelin down

To Dixie's sunny shore

From Atlantic to Pacific, gee

The traffic is terrific

Oh there's no place like home for the holidays

'cause no matter how far away you roam

When you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze

For the holidays, you can't beat home, sweet home

Thank you for your help! But I don't really recognize those lyrics. Maybe if it was with the tune. My theory was that is was a specific Fred Meyer's jingle, but who knows.

Okay, final answer.

This is what I had in mind when I posted the lyrics. If it's not what you are looking for, at least you can listen to the mellow tones of Perry Como.
