I'm not a gambling person by any means and have actually been to only 2 in Oregon for things other than gambling.Between 7 Feathers(food)and Chinook Winds(bachelor party) I would take Chinnok just because if I was going to live by one of them I would pick Lincoln City. Also closer to Portland area.

Question: Are the Casinos in Vegas now smoke-free because they sure aren't here which keeps a lot of recreational gamblers away.

I never gamble, but Spirit Mountain Casino's food buffet is one thing that is inviting about taking the drive from Portland's west side to Lincoln City. Usually, I take Hy. 26 to Seaside since its a bit over an hour, compared to about 2.5 hours on 99 to get to Lincoln City.

But our family - and other folks - enjoy that casino's food. Nicely decorated place too.

I have never worked for a casino, but I love the slots! I prefer Spirit Mountain Casino over Chinook Winds. Plus, Spirit Mountain keeps expanding. They are now building a new building with meeting rooms for company meetings/retreats. They just expanded their gaming floor, and I hear their food is great!
