I see a lot of the state senators towards the center, but not the house. The house reps are pretty 'scorched earth' types.

That's not what I said. Again, I said that the people of Eastern Oregon put significant effort into the lower min. wage increase and were granted it as a result. Your OP was made on the premise that somehow, Eastern Oregon go the shaft in favor of Portland interests, which isn't the case here. If anything, Portland lost out here, if you want to look at it that way.

Thank you for making sense....note: if the bundys had got their way and eastern or public lands were privatized, the same folks would be griping about how they couldnt ohv or hunt any where. "Ooobaaaaammma!!"

Sounds like conservatives got exactly what they wanted in eastern or, why gripe about it?
