For sea lions, just get to the dock behind the fish processing plant on the Newport bayfront.
You will hear them if they are there.


The "East Mooring Basin" in Astoria is also a hotspot for them things.
It pretty much looks like this:


Just don't get to close to them.
They are huge, quick, mean, loud, they stink to high heaven, but are very entertaining to watch (from a distance) as they fight for a good spot.
