Have you ever been to Summit County in Colorado? You may like Frisco or Breckenridge. You may also look into Winter Park in Colorado. I would imagine Sun Valley in Idaho might be comparable too, but I've never been. I have also heard that Sandpoint, Idaho is really nice too.

Have you been to Zion National park in Utah? We loved staying at the desert pearl inn. We would bring our bikes and do lots of hiking with the kids and listen to the river in the background.
The hike into the narrows is world class and so beautiful. Not quite like sunriver, but a quick drive for you.

Jackson Hole near the Teton Pines Golf Course (Moose-Wilson Road). It really isn't the same as Sunriver, with a bike path system, but is enough off the beaten track such that biking on the road should be safe. I need to tell you that I haven't been there in probably 10 years so development may have changed that.
