Brother in law unemployed and without coverage for himself and one dc. Is there a site with affordable plans for low income for Fla residents? TY

Florida offers KidCare which is a low cost insurance for kids priced on a sliding scale based on income. Florida KidCare

It is possible (since he is unemployed) that the child will be eligible for Medicaid -- but if he applies for KidCare they will let him know this.

Apply for Medicaid for the insurance. If he doesn't qualify, they will refer him to FL kid care which he will qualify.

He need to apply for Medicaid first because they will ask you if you wer denied.
