I live in and got a ticket in Orlando Florida (Orange County Florida) for failure to present drivers license when I got pulled over. I told the cop I forgot my license so he looked up my info on his computer. Anyways, he gave me a ticket for $114 but I do indeed have a vaild license. Can this type of ticket be dismissed or will I have to pay it?

You could contest it and bring your valid license to the hearing. The judge may be understanding as there is no real criminal/illegal intent here.

If the ticket was for failure to carry the license then it sounds like you were guilty of that. Just having a valid license isn't enough, it actually has to be with you when you're driving. If you were given a ticket for driving without a license / driving with a suspended license and could prove you indeed have one, you could probably get the judge or prosecutor to reduce it to a ticket for failure to carry, but based on what you posted I don't see any reason that a judge or prosecutor to dismiss it.

Just bring your current valid driver license to court. Usually it's dismissed when you show it to the prosecutor or the judge.
