Does anyone do pavers? Do you charge by the square foot? If so, how much? Or, if someone recently had pavers done, how much were you charged?

We had a paver pool deck and a curved garden paver path built down one side of our home connecting the pool deck to the driveway in the front. The pool deck was 2 years ago and the path was done last summer. For the pool deck we purchased the pavers and paid $1.50 per square foot for labor and other materials. The path was done for $3.00 per square foot - which included labor and all materials including matching pool deck pavers.

From what I understand this is a VERY good price. My neighbor was given a quote by another company at $9.00 per square foot for labor and materials.
