Well there goes his 'Stand your ground' defense. Besides what Zimmerman already admitted to the operator, the law clearly states you cannot PURSUE the individual. If anyone was trying to stand his ground- it was the victim.

And why does george zimmerman sound drunk on the 911 call? I thought at first maybe his speech was just naturally slow and somewhat slurred. Because, I know someone who is mildly retarded from getting hit by a car as a child who speaks the same way. But other than his speech he is completely normal.

The laws governing self-defense with firearms are based on how most people would have reacted in the same situation. George clearly did not do what the average person would've done in this situation.

Arresting Zimmerman is not enough.
The reason for the cover-up should be investigated thoroughly as well.
The local police are obviously corrupt and this might lead to some deeper connections.
Maybe they all belong to the same klan?
