I had a friend who lived in New Smyrna Beach and commuted to work every day just fine... Now GRANTED they were only going to Heathrow, but then again, maybe that's another consideration for the OP. Where in Orlando are they going to be working? If they are going to be down town, their commute will not be the best. Then again if their work location is near an exit on the 417, maybe it will be easy. Just flat out saying the commute from NSB sucks seems polarizing and not very logical.

Universal Orlando. My husband is trying to get a job there and if he does then I wanna know what we are gunna be going for ahead of time instead of the last minute. So I am trying to get all ideas.

I would definitely stick to Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island or titusville in that case. Universal is in SW Orlando. Would be a rough commute from New Smyrna or Daytona Beach. I-4 is much worse for commuting than the 528
