Thanks for the link, though that still wouldn't explain why I've only ever seen the pattern on windows with tint, regardless of tempering. Unless it's the combination of tempered+tint that reveals the pattern. I'll probably just ask to see samples of their work w/ the tint I choose and examine it first hand. Thanks

Flying Window Tint on 17/92 right above 434. Did an awesome job on my car back in 2003. The tint still looked new and fresh the day I sold my car 6 months ago.
