Hello. We are moving to FL in the near future. I am looking online at apartments for rent that state utilities included. What would that mean in Florida. In NY it would mean the electricity, heat, hot water are included in the rent. I see a lot of rentals that say Trash and water included or Lawn care included. Are those examples of the utilites? Is there ever a scenario where the electricity is included? Thanks for any help!

The only way you will know which are covered is by checking out each apartment complex in person, on phoned, or on line to see what is covered in rent. Sometimes basic cable is included and sometimes water.
Rarely is electricity included except for maybe in student apartment complexes over by UCF where they charge each person about $600-700 for their room in the apartment. so a 4 bedroom /2 bath apartment gets rented for $2400-$2800 a month. They furnish the living and kitchen, include cable/ethernet, electricity, water, etc. but if you go over the cap the apartment is charged by the complex for excess use.
