I will be moving to Orlando, FL and working at the VA. I have been looking at different areas to live. So far I am thinking about the Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Hunter's Creek, Lake Nona areas...any suggestions or feedback about these areas? I will be renting.

Lake Nona will be the closest option. It's quiet though. What are you looking for

If you're considering Winter Park or Altamonte Springs you might give thought to Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral. The commute time would be the same and living beachside has it's perks, particularly if renting/short term.

I will be working at the VA in the Baldwin Park area on Raymond Street...I am looking at the Winter Park area...any really good complexes or townhouses to live? My maximum per month would be $1200 but I want a really nice, safe, and clean place to live.

You can rent a apartment in BP between 1,000-1500 depending on size. BP has pretty good facilities (1) heated pool and 2 unheated pools, gym, lots of green space to ride a bike. The shopping is close by, on BP there is Publix, Pizza, coffee shop, etc...10 minutes away is Target, Sears, Penny's, etc...movie theater...downtown is about 15 minutes...depending on traffic....there are garage apartments in BP too. They are building a new 400 unit apartment complex in BP on the lake but not finished yet. Here is a zillow apt.
