I have now come to think that if you get to see the entire Orlando area, it is a lot like a combination of what you see in Miami and Tampa. It certainly has more tourism than Miami, but the tourism in Tampa is minimal (95% of it taken by Busch Gardens, the other 5% taken by Clearwater basically) compared to Miami, which is the second highest visited city in FL. Yet, it is much more laid back than Miami, kind of similar to Tampa.

If your talking tourism, you have to remember that much of Orlando area tourism is centered around The Mouse, and other theme parks, which are open year round, unlike other amusement parks in other cities. It caters to a wider tourist base than Miami does, which (just my perception) mainly attracts those looking for more nightlife suited activities.

I think it has it's own unique personality and isn't anything like the other two.

Orlando seems a lot like Jacksonville & Tampa Bay to me. I know the tourist stuff is big part of the city, but so far it feels like Tampa Bay and lil bit like Jacksonville and Atlanta, it definitely has the traffic like Atlanta.

I totally agree. It has some similarities but I think it has a different feel than Tampa and Miami. I prefer it to both, anyway.

no, i dont think it's a "hybrid" of Tampa and Miami....

Tampa is southern and quite boring to be honest.
Miami is like northern Latin America and much more sultry and sexy than Tampa or Orlando.

When I think of Orlando, I think of pasty white fat tourists with fanny packs eating at fast food joints.....
Tampa, I think of retired old people and some hick type ppl. .

Miami is more cosmopolitan than Orlando or Tampa.
I find it offensive than Miami is being put on the samr level as Tampa, honestly.

Tampa? LOL, no.

Jacksonville? Orlando has nothing in common with that city.

Orlando is much like Tampa- and share some comparisons with Miami.

It feels more like jacksonville and tampa combined. Southern culture mixed with some northern culture and tourism built on the backbone of litterally 1 attraction. Density of Orlando is also the same as jacksonville and tampa
