Dr. Phillips is in Orange County. I'm not sure about fabric stores, I'd be shocked if there weren't any though. If not, you wouldn't be far because the location is very central. There is also plenty of golfing available. Tiger Woods used to live less than 5 minutes from Dr. Phillips after all lol.

Dr. Phillips is home to a couple golf communities, and is close to those in Windermere. One large neighborhood called Bay Hill is currently hosting the Arnold Palmer Invitational. There's another subdivision called Orange Tree that has a large gold course. The homes are more homogeneous in style, while Bay Hill has a broad range of styles built during different decades.

Not sure about tennis but I see tennis being advertised in Shadow Bay Park. I'm sure there are tennis leagues around, though.

I love Dr. Phillips and have called the area home for many years. I adore Windermere as well. It's a toss up between which community is my favorite.
