I am with you on this.....this guy picked one month of the year.........There were 16 murders in July so i guess you have to take the year as a whole.....no one "EVER" said this was the worst place in the U.S......but at the same time the tourists that come here and return home without seeing the actuall city of Orlando wouldnt know that Orlando was cabable of having 10 murders in a year

i picked november because it was the most recent month, october also only had 2 murders, so thats 4 murders in the last 2 months, may we all hope these low numbers continue , but obviously one murder is one murder too many, but its ineveidable there will be some killings in large urban areas

werent we ranked either the 7th or 11th most dangerous city to live in? i dont think those stats are based on one month.

btw, two in november? i remember a man in apopka killed by home invasion, a teen was shot. how about the man who killed the woman with alzheimers?

how about "Mourad "Moe" Balzourt, 28, of Bellthorn Drive in south Orange County, is accused of strangling Solymarie Roman, 22, and setting fire to her body in a brushy area off Marlin Drive in Polk County on Nov. 1.,

or this one:

ORANGE COUNTY - Two workers were critically injured during a robbery at a pawnshop Thursday in the Azalea Park neighborhood just east of Orlando.

The shooting took place about 2:30 p.m. after two men entered Azalea Park Pawn & Jewelry on South Semoran Boulevard near Dahlia Drive, said Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Solomons. They browsed the jewelry and left a few minutes later, saying the store didn't have what they wanted, Solomons said.

Minutes later, they returned with a gun and held up the store. They shot a man and a woman before fleeing on foot, Solomons said.

but most of all, your right, one is too many. i think violence has gone up everywhere it seems.

guitar, how can you get a link for 2007 when the yr isnt even over with? it'd probably be wise to wait til the year has ended. they'll compile data, review, blah blah blah, and the stats will probably come out sometime later.
