All right City-Data. So I know we have been through this a bunch and I've read a lot of the archived threads on relocation possibilities to the Greater Orlando area but wanted some up to date feedback and ideas.

My wife and I presently live on the North side of Atlanta, North of the Perimeter and rent.

There is a possibility that I may receive multiple job offers from companies in the Winter Springs area that would be significant pay increases over my present salary. My wife has a job that allows her to telework 5 days a week. Now I LOVE the Brevard County vicinity of Rockledge/Viera but obviously due to the commute, that's sadly out of the question.

Based on some things I have read here, it seems like Winter Springs, Oviedo, Lake Mary, etc. might be areas for consideration and I wanted to see if my guesses there meet your opinions. I've also looked a bit at the newer area of Lake Nona

We would still be looking to rent, with a monthly rental budget around $1500 (hoping for a 3 bedroom apartment like we have now)... We have 2 small dogs, so proximity to a nice park with dog run would be great. Wife and I would probably love an area like Winter Park but might be too pricey for us.

Also, do you maybe have any recommendations for apartment complexes that are rather nice in these particular areas?

Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend the Lake Mary/Heathrow area. It's a very nice area and much of it is actually walkable to shops/restaurants as well as being bike-friendly. Check out the two Colonial Grand properties as well as Ballantrae, Legends Lake Mary and Bell Timacuan. Ballantrae and Bell Timacuan have pet parks/runs on premises.

Thanks Kyle, much appreciated!

Most of these seems similar to my current apartment complex (if not a bit more modern with respect to appliances). I currently rent my Washer/Dryer (although by now I own it tenfold), so it is nice to see that in some of these complexes and floor plans, they are included.

Colonial Grand at Lake Mary is very nice and has a new section that opened recently, large park across the street for walking the dogs
Also consider Village at Lake Lily or The Q in Maitland
Lake Faith Condos in Maitland are very nice, not sure if they take pets

You might be able to rent a house for the budget you mention
