In the near future will be relocating from the Northeast to the Orlando area. Currently have three cats that I have had since they were kittens. Been looking at Apt complexes in the Orlando area and have found that most allow at most 2 cats, not three and there is a pet deposit and fee that is part of a "pet policy." Are there any decent, yet affordable, apartment complexes in the Orlando area that would take three cats. Or maybe adding a third cat could be negotiable under a complex's current pet policy. And since I am over 55+, a kinda 55+ complex would also be good. Thanks.

I would opt more toward a 55+ community as they seem less restrictive in that department than some rental communities. Are they indoor cats? If so it might not be an issue in two pet limit properties as they don't tend to inventory pets once moved in. Maintenance visits can sometimes wreck that but if they're anything like my cats they tend to hide in such circumstances.

I'd be looking to rent a house or condo through a private owner, and offering additional refundable pet security to ease their minds.

Default Better Still

It would probably even be better if all the cats were of the same breed. Two of the cats are Siamese and one is Calico...

Default orlando?

Hello! I live in Florida but the Tampa bay area and I have lots of family living in Orlando and they love it!! I cant give too much advise as far as where exactly to move but i would have to say that Orlando is a pretty big/popular city and it shouldn't be hard find jobs or much less a place. i think change is good and you should definitely do it. Good luck!!
