This is MY opinion. Others will vary, I'm sure, but - FWIW, here y'are.....

Best:

Roller Coaster - Hulk (Universal IOA)

Steak - Capital Grille (Pointe Orlando)

Breakfast - Crackerbarrel (OBT/Hunter's Creek)

Frappe/Milk shake - Steak and Shake

Burger - Jungle Jim's (Crossroads, Lake Buena Vista)

Pizza - La Forchetta (S.JYP, Kissimmee) {Forget what you've heard about "no good pizza south of the M&D line. This place seriously rivals pizza joints in Bensonhurst/Brroklyn! The owner is from the Boot via Brooklyn. And you can ALSO kill all that noise about "Florida water worsening the taste". Biggest myth since Sasquatch! Trust me on this one!

People Watching - Downtown Disney, CityWalk, Mall @ Millenia

Chinese - PF Chang's (Winter Park/M@Millenia)

Gym - LA Fitness (No other gym comes to within 5 light years of it!)

Buffet - Trail's End Buffeteria (Fort Wilderness) and Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge)

Water Park - Typhoon Lagoon (WDW)

Indoor Coaster - Revenge of the Mummy (Universal Orlando)

Free Fall Ride/drop - Tower of Terror (WDW)

Miniature Golf - Pirate's Cove (Crossroads, Lake Buena Vista)

Fireworks Display - Illuminations (WDW/Epcot)

BBQ - Sonny's

Flume Ride - Splash Mountain (WDW/MK)

If my choices stink....School me!

Anthonys Pizza in Casselberry on 17-92 made better NY pizza than most places in NY. At least they used to. Kind of a best kept secret, never really got famous at the time.

If it's still good. This was YEARS ago, but it was a great place! It's more of a classic slice joint.

Best Pizza - I second Little Anthonys; and Taste Of Italy off of Aloma in Oviedo.

Best Steak - Linda's La Cantina and Texas De Brazil.

Best People Watching - definitely Park Avenue.

Best BBQ, Cecils (Sony's is a chain!)

Best Gym - anywhere, but LA fitness!!! Guess it just depends on what you want. I personally prefer Gold's, the YMCA, but to each his own - there isn't any lack of gyms/fitness places in Orlando.

"Best BBQ, Cecils (Sony's is a chain!)"

Haha....You'll have to forgive me, as I'm still (relatively) a new jack to the area. I will have to check out Cecil's as well.

Best breakfast has to be Le Peep. Will be difficult when we move to Polk county and are not down the road from this place.

I liked First Watch better than Le Peep when I lived in Orlando. They just opened down here fairly recently.

Also, for Chinese, PF Changs is pretty good, but it's still more of a chain-ey place. There used to be this Chinese place we went to next to Anthonys on 17-92 when we lived there that was really good...here the best Chinese takeout I can find is Pei Wei (go figure, with all of us whiny Yankees). The strange thing is that I found certain that were closer to "New York" quality up there than I did here where we have essentially taken over. Regardless, I could care less, the stuff makes you fat anyway, and I'm not in New York.
