Any beaches close to Lake Mary area that have boardwalks and games similar to the Jersey Shore or Cony Island?

There used to be a theme park out on I-4 and US 27 called Boardwalk & Baseball.

I have never seen anything else like it.

I would be Daytona Beach still has an arcade on the boardwalk.

Daytona Beach is your best bet (and only one really) if you don't mind a somewhat "skanky" feel. It just doesn't have the nostalgic element I think you're looking for.

The modern piers down here are designed to be easy to rebuild after hurricanes. The posts are the expensive part to set into place, and are very solid. Anything put on top of the posts are designed to be easy to replace, and the walkways are actually designed to pop and float away when hit by too much water from underneath. Given those design restrictions, it's hard to put a New Jersey or California style small amusement park on top of them.

Thx for the advice!

Is it worth to stay a night in Daytona Beach or is it more of a day trip kinda thing?

You could do either. If you never been, why not spend the night? Rates are very cheap now. We just stayed the night for NYE and had a blast. If you do stay, either stay right at the boardwalk or go a little to the south in Daytona Beach or Daytona Beach Shores. You could get an inexpensive oceanfront room

The Boardwalk has some fun things but it may not take up the entire day or night. There's Ocean Walk Shoppes - Daytona's Premier Entertainment Hub right there where you could spend your evening as well. They have restaurants, shopping and movies. There's mini golf off A1A also. Pirate's Island - Pirate's Cove - Adventure Golf Water park: Daytona Lagoon - Daytona Beach's Most Exciting Family Fun Center and Waterpark! The Speedway is a couple miles from there too. Daytona International Speedway - Daytona International Speedway

Plenty other things to do around.

Hope this helps. Have fun!

If anyone in the family watches Nascar take the tour at the race track. My niece wanted to go so I took her and even though I never watch nascar it was really a lot of fun.
