The DeBary Station will be getting more parking because it's parking lot is consistently full or close to full. 211 parking spots will be added to the lot which already has 275. The City of DeBary is also looking into a welcome center of some sort to be built near/at the station.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal

Also another expansion at a SunRail Station, though not one that is because of success like DeBary's case, Maitland is wants to build a garage at its SunRail Station. Maitland Station has less than 200 riders per day.

Im surprised there is not a station on Holden Ave between Sand Lake and Orlando Health. Its just wide open for a station to be built in that area. If Maitland gets the garage they need to have more development near their station as well.

You haven't answered the question as to what 'development' is.

There is supposed to be an official word in Kissimmee that 4 more stations are going to be built south of Sand Lake Station. Downtown Kissimme is where one of the new Sunrail stations will be located. Sunrail also has plans of scaling back the later night trains and putting them on a mid day schedule between morning and evening rush hours.

SunRail is considering adding another mid day train and cutting the late train. It would depart DeBary at 2:30 and Sand Lake Road at 3:45 to attract more of the "early rush" commuters.

Maybe the night service will return later.

A few days back, I was considering Sunrail as an option to get from work to the gym and back, as my wife's car was due for service and needed to be dropped off and she was going to have to use mine.
I guess it wouldn't be so bad... I'd walk 10 minutes to the Longwood station, ride the train to Altamonte, then catch a bus to Uptown. My GPS said it would take a total of 40 minutes including the walk and wait time for the bus. I guess it would be convenient for that...

I have nothing against having a commuter rail go through the metro. I just think this **** needs to be elevated, much like the one in Miami.
This idiotic idea that they should use the existing rail that cuts through major thoroughfares is beyond stupid.
