I hope all could find what makes them happy.

Must be nice tinytrump... must be nice!

What part of "old Orlando" do you live in?

I am in a 5 mile radius from DTown- rehabbing a smaller house-like a key west a cottage as it is just myself - but has everything on my wish list. All the grands & friends want to come over all the time - because its a perfect grandma house. Last thing to add - kids are welcomed on my block- you don't know how many places I lived that they snubbed my kids for making noise etc. brrr nasty people-- I am happy!

I took a few pictures of some neighborhoods in Mt Dora that might interest you, with nice landscaping, clean yards and such.
I'll upload them in a few

Dogwood Mountain?

I'm a native of Mount Dora. I wish I could add something to this conversation about racism but I fear that my experiences as a white person aren't so valid in this case.

It was a wonderful place to grow up but I'm happy as hell that I left as soon as I could.

Yep, Dogwood Mountain.
Most of the areas around Overlook and Old Eustis are very similar to that in appearance.

I'm also curious, why are you happy you left?
Quite a few acquaintances of mine from various parts of Orlando are actually choosing Mount Dora and the 32736 side of Eustis to raise their young families...

How long ago did you leave?
