I am working PT and commuting about 23 miles each way and it takes me 35 minutes with "no" traffic (not during rush hour). I live on the east side and work on the west, so I take 408. There is a full time job opening soon, but we don't want to relocate to the west side - we love our kids' school, etc. Just seems like 23 miles each way is alot, especially if it kicks up to 5 days a week (with the price of gas now and all!) Just curious about other's commute times and miles.

I live on east side and work 20 miles in (going west). During rush hour it takes me 45 minutes to an hour. If it's not rush hour-it takes me 24 minutes.

I live on the east side and work downtown - I'm exactly 12 miles from my office. I don't take the 408 in because I leave before 7:00 AM and the traffic is not bad that early. I do take the 408 home at 5:00. I get to work in 20-30 minutes and get home in 20-30 minutes.

I live in Auburndale and commute to OIA. It is 41 miles each way and it takes me 37 minutes on average each way. The fastest I ever made it was about half an hour and the longest it ever took me was around 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
