It seems Orlando is a very big ample place with lots of friendly people, am glad to hear that "Life is more relaxed and the pace is slower". Maybe I can use a little bit of that. lol

I will definitely look into the parks, not so sure about the lakes...and am looking forward to see the crystal clear water.
Yes it is important to find out about the schools and will be visiting the websites you mentioned.

So, I take it Winter Park is an area I should look into? It's very important to love where you live its what makes you happy.

I like the fact that Winter Park is a well establish neighborhood. The houses may sound old to you, but compare to NY houses they may not be that old. lol

I will look into the tour boat ride, it does sound interesting.

I know what you mean. The last apartment building we lived in was built in 1937, Sheepshead Bay area.
