My husband and I live in Texas. We know we will retire in Fla. in about two years. I have the opportunity to transfer with my job to Orlando airport now.

I am looking for affordable housing no more than 20-30 minutes from the airport. Apartment, town house,
or condo rental. Since we will be keeping up two households, cost is a factor. But, it will not outweigh a safe location since I will be working the late shift and getting home in the late evening.

I welcome any information.

Not sure what affordable is to you so I will just recommend Dr Phillips as no 1 choice followed by Lake Nona.

Check out the St. Cloud area, Hunters Creek and the new developments just south of the airport.

I would second that. St Cloud is fairly safe and quiet with rental costs well below some of the other suggestions. https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_ren...266_rect/9_zm/
