I live in a sub-division, a neighborhood, a complex. We will call it B. Outside the neighborhood is street C. Inside our neighborhood is street D. It runs from one end of the complex to the other. (this is very difficult to explain without you seeing pics)

One day, street C decides they want 'no parking' signs on their street, so they got a petition and it was approved by the City. So street C got 'no parking' signs installed on their street.

In the bi-laws, it says only 'full block' requests will be granted. I had to do a double take. So that means when street C got signs installed on their street, street D also had signs installed on their street. Because that was part of the 'full block' I guess. Street C & D intersect each other.

Even know street C & D intersect with each other, street D is inside the complex I live at. It's a Condo Association. It's not gated so people can drive from one end to the other. There are 75 units in this Condo Association. Street C has nothing to do with street D, and it's not even part of the Condos.

When asked the city to remove the 'no parking' signs from street D (because it's inside our complex) they replied back 'only if street C says it's ok). This is not right. Why would the city have in it's bi-laws, that only 'full block' requests will be allowed. This intrudes on any streets that intersect with them.
