Why? I'm new to town and needed help and reassurance when I literally have no one else, so I made a post. Please read the follow ups if you have a problem with the size maybe? Just a guess. I've gotten a lot of assistance and suggestions that were much needed from this thread.

when i was 10--- i was outside playing in South beach, and I saw something moving, so i went to look-- you right it was a monster- it was about 4 inches long and it flew away disgusting-- anyhow at home I put bug powder around the base of the house. They do sell some potent stuff- put a mask on and stay really close to the walls - and try to caulk any opening or holes where they can get in by pipes- windows tec.

While I don't want these critters in my home I no longer think of them as "disgusting".

Just another creature trying to survive.
