I tried to do a search in the forum, and unless I just completely whiffed on it, i didn't see too much talk about apartments in the Lake Nona area.

I may be moving down there soon (I'll know next week), and would be working in Lake Nona. I see there are a lot of apartment complexes in the area. I'm a 30 year old single male. Anyone have any suggestions which ones are the better ones?

I also considered living in downtown around Lake Eola. But I think the drive will be a pain, also I don't like having to deal with loud noises in the middle of the night. But the flip side being it'd be nice to be where all the fun is at.

There are a good number in/around Lake Nona with some 4 to 5 star ratings.

If you don't like loud noises, stay as far as you can away from the airport. The amount of noise was a big surprise for me.

Do you mean from the airplane traffic? If so, that won't bother me all that much, I currently live near a Air Force Base so we have jets flying over us all the time. Used to hearing planes fly over.

Plus, quite frankly, you will hear all kinds of airplane noise anywhere East of I4 South of 436, which is a huge part of the Orlando MSA, thanks to the two airports (Orlando Executive and MCO) being strategically located in the middle of residential areas. Well, MCO not so much, but lots of planes make their final approaches from the North and as such, pass through some very densely populated areas. You can't escape the noise unless you go further North or far West.
