Don't dismiss Audubon Park either -- you go through it when driving down Bennett and Corrine.
I'll take that a step further (because this is almost the exact route I take clients on when relocating), you're missing all the beautiful neighborhoods between Corrine and Rollins as well as the Via's and Winter Park proper.

Take Bennett to Corrine, then take a right on Winter Park Rd., then left onto Pennsylvania. Take a right on Highland, take a left on Stirling, take right on Lakeview follow along Lake Virginia. Right on Holt, Left on Park (you'll be on the Rollins campus now). Take Park and keep going past the shopping/dining area. Take right on Stovin, merge right to Palmer, left on Alabama, left on Via Tuscany, left on Via Lugano, right on Pinetree (or go straight to see Isle of Sicily), left on Via Lombardy, left on Via Tuscany, right on Whitesell, right on Temple, left on Magnolia, right on Arbor Park, right on Pine, left on Phelps, right on Oakhurst, left on Bonita, follow that to Sylvan and right on Aloma and you'll be heading back to Fairbanks and Park and you will have seen all of winter park.

I've worked with 2 clients who have moved here from the Houston area and 1 chose Baldwin and the other chose Winter park. Different personalities and different needs for their families. Just have to go with what works for you.

I’ll raise you one further- take a left on Fawsett Rd. from Winter Park Rd., take a right on Dana Way, around the pond and a left on Forrest Rd. It’s one of my fav areas in Winter Park.

It's amazing how, even though you actually turn left onto Lake Sue Ave, everyone calls it Pennsylvania anyway. We do as well.

When I go the other way (along Lake Virginia) I call that "New York" - even though it changes names 4 times - because that's where you come out.

My parents were visiting recently and I took them on the scenic route to Kraft https://goo.gl/maps/XgMZdUvCUCx4yUE58

If I'm going to Park Ave or to Miller's I take mostly the same route, I just stay on New York (French).
