I am traveling to Orlando in January for a wedding and the two hotel choices per the couple are the Marriott AC Downtown and Grand Bohemian.

Can any one provide a review of which one is better? I don't travel much so would like to treat myself to a nice place to stay. Budget wise the AC is cheaper but it doesn't have room service and the restaurants look mediocore.

Grand Bohemian looks more luxury and has a Spa and room service that would be nice but more expensive.

Would appreciate any reviews of the two hotels.

The AC is cheaper but has better views. There is a rooftop bar which is really cool. The Grand Bohemian is nicer but I think the AC is the better deal unless you need a spa and room service. You can still eat at GB if you want.

If you don't travel much, you're probably fine with the AC. I travel a lot for work and usually stay at the Grand Bohemian when I'm in downtown Orlando. Many opposing NBA teams stay there as well when they're in town.

Bohemian, by quite a margin. And while they are just a few blocks from each other, the Bohemian's location is much better, at least until they finish revamping Garland Ave.
Good food there too.

Yup. Agreed. And it should be, since its a higher end property. While I've not stayed at that particular AC, the brand is nice but not full service.

I've stayed at this grand bohemian several times. Nice rooms, lobby bar, and restaurant.
