Anybody have any birthday ideas? I'm taking my mom to Orlando, fl for one day. We're going to the Holy Land, but anyone have any other ideas to make it fun, like some nice restaurants, Disney world/universal studies birthday ideas, malls. Again I plan to spend one day there. Thanks again and God Bless.

You seem like a religious person, I would say try all those places above. But if you are coming during the warm weather, try Wet N Wild and Sea World water parks.

Hi!
The holy land experience takes pretty much the whole day. If you want to go to a mall, go to the mall at Millenia, it's very very close to the Holy land experience, and it's a nice mall. You can then go to Downtown Disney, or Universal city walk. If you're here on a Saturday night, they have concerts at Universal Studios (I believe they sell discounted park tickets after 5:30pm or something like that).

Actually the sign is kind of funny, it literally points like this:
Mall ---->
<---Holy land

so yes they are close across the bridge and to the right close.

You may want to check out some dinner theatres there are a bunch.
Medieval times
Arabian Nights
Pirates Dinner Adventure
Capone's

Dolly Parton's shut down

There's always fun sit down restaurants like:
Kobe - Japanese Tepanyaki
Benihana (More adult friendly not so many children)
There are asian buffets galore
Check out I-Drive they have a lot of food and then check out the restaurants off 535
Golden Corral if you like American buffet
Joe's Crab Shack
There's always old towne

Let's not forget there is Epcot but you will NEED <--- can't emphasize that one enough.. MUST HAVE reservations, otherwise it's an expensive ticket for a BIG let down. They offer a cheaper ticket to Epcot for later hour dinning.
Check out the disney site and get the guest services number to make reservations.

Downtown Disney has Rainforest Cafe and other great stuff too.

You may want to consider how kid friendly you want to go, there are places more reserved and others where children are running wildly here and there.
I would recommend asking when making a reservation.

Universal has:
Bubba Gumps' (good fun)
Hardrock
Bob Marley's
Emeril's Orlando

Then the hotels all have their own restaurants too!
Hope this helps! Happy birthday to the birthday person!

Default b-day by holy land

Hi there well if you have one day and you are already going to holy land, the millenium mall is right there, they have 2 good restaurants there connected to the mall both have very nice atmospheres they are PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory. The mall is big and pricey but it is beautiful landscape with waterfalls inside and all kinds of goodies!
