Hi. We will be renting a home the middle of June for 2 weeks. what are the average pool temps for june if you dont use the extra heating? being from the midwest we always have the pool heat on to about 85-86. but in Florida, does the pool temp stay relatively the same day and nite in the summer months? Thanks for any advice

If you want it that warm you'll have to heat it. With those being the daytime highs, it cools down into the low 70's at night, so average pool temp unheated will be in the mid to upper 70's. Keep in mind that the pool enclosures that many pools have diffuses the sun so the pool doesn't trap as much solar heat as an unenclosed pool.

I can attest to the pool enclosure statement. mine keeps my pool much cooler than those withouot the enclosure. the outside pool can become like bath water where mine is always upper 70's at its peak..
I moved here from the midwest and the first year I was in the pool in december. so my tolerance was much greater back then.. now if its below 70 its like... nah i don't think so...

I would take the pool heat so that you can swim in the evening. The only concern would be that when we once rented a vacation home and requested the pool heat, they come and turn it on before your stay, then they lock it so that you cant play with it or adjust it. They had it set to warm and you could see the steam coming off of the pool!
I would ask the property manager about this and have it set somewhere in the mid eighties

The water in your pool will be like bathwater by May. No need at all to heat your pool anywhere in FL in June..Heck, I wouldn't recommend it up north in June.
