Hilton just announced that they will be looking to fill 1400 jobs here in Orlando at the three new hotels they are opening by the end of the year. Yes, some will be lower paying service jobs, but Hilton offers health insurance to most employees, so that's something to be happy about.

Cool better than New England?

according to that map, Orlando area will recover sooner than Massachusetts, Conn. and Rhode Island.

Statistics are all about how you read them.

Very interesting. Orlando looks like it will be the first to rebound out of any city in Florida. We are also rated the same in this respect to other major job markets, if not better. Of course, Orlando's job market was never on par with other major cities in regards to pay, but at least it will be back on track and looking to grow after that.

Chances are the employee would need to submit your resume therough their internal system for you.

Call center jobs don't pay much, never have. But most of these new jobs aren't going to be call center. They'll be operations, housekeeping, food service/catering, AV/Convention services, guest services, management, valet and bell services, etc. Hilton is supposed to ahve pretty good employee benefits.

I know some of the executive and administrative jobs are only being advertised on LinkedIn. (hint, hint)
