Where is the best and nearest place to play poker in Orlando? I prefer casinos not home game

Legally? Probably Seminole Hard Rock casino in Tampa.

Nearest would be the gambling cruise ships out of Port Canaveral.... The two I remember from a couple of years ago were SunCruise and Sterling..... Sterling was free, but at the time did NOT have poker.... Not sure about SunCruise....

Either way, Sterling was cool.... Free drinks and buffet as long as you're gambling... Played a LOT of Blackjack and Craps on those ships....

At least one of those gambling cruise ships has gone out of business, not sure which.

Make the hour drive to Seminole Hard Rock Casino right before you hit Tampa. its right off I-4 and has a nice sized poker room.

Depends on which side of Orlando you live. Daytona Beach Kennel Club is AWESOME. However, if you're closer to the Hard Rock they have a great room also. Most serious players in the Orlando Area go to both depending on the event. You can pull up the Kennel club's poker schedule on line. The Hard Rock is also on line but my computer receives error messages when I try to pull up their Poker Calendar. Good Luck.
