Forget about the corporate chains and franchises! We should be supporting our local fare. Maybe then we would have our own hidden gems that can survive in a town where service(from the wait staff) is nearly none existant. There might be 3 or 4 great servers in the Clermont area. We need more restaurants like R and G's Bakery, Pizza, Deli on 50 across from the Clermont Fire Dept. Robert and Gia Truely understand how to treat customers and have superb quality foods. Most of us moved here to get away from the city life so why would you want that upity corp. lifestyle/restaurants in our back yards? Just a thought. Sorry for the rambling.

Friendly's is a nice place to eat. Especially for their ice cream. They are real big in the northeast where Im from, every town had at least one Friendly's. Didnt know Clermont had on though

As for Golden Corral, we have enough of those. Just a guaranteed ticket to food poisoning city, with a 10 second layover in vomit town.

I wish Shoney's would come back, now that place was good
