Hello! We're planning on buying an apt in Orlando and maybe relocate with our 9 year old son. We are currently considering these condos:

Belmont @ Park Central - 32839
The Hamptons @ MetroWest - 32835
THe Fountains @ MetroWest - 32835
Central Park Condo -Westgate Dr, 32835
The Residences @ Villa Medici- Conroy Rd, 32811
Regency Gardens -32822
Greens Condo- Castle Pines Ln, 32839

Can someone tell me if the areas are good to live in?

I would say no. I used to live in an apt in that area and things were bad years ago. I can't imagine that they would get any better. Definately don't buy anything until you go there in person and see for yourself. I lived on Conroy and someone was robbed at gunpoint at the apt mailbox. My boyfriend lived on Westgage Drive & it was way too close to the really bad area near Raleigh Street and Kirkman. I also had a friend who lived in MetroWest at one of the apts and there was a lot of gang activity as well as several rapes.

It sounds like many of the former apt complexes are now condos. Just don't do it would be my advice. You can do better for sure.
