Is different, I am 100% fed up with these god awful drivers. I almost got into an accident today in the same place i was in an accident at 2 weeks ago (South OBT between Sand Lake and Landstreet)

Also saw another guy dart across the trail from the far right lane to make a left turn into the Ale House in front of the Florida Mall

I also witnessed a driver at OBT and Taft-Vineland make a right turn from the middle lane on a red light

And why do SO MANY drivers INSIST on going 10 below the limit? I mean really, why should I waste time being stuck behind you going 40 when the speed limit is 50?

I never see dumb drivers anywhere like I do on OBT, I almost never have a problem on ANY other road including I-4

Im just having a bad day today, which sucks because it is SO gorgeous outside.

Im just extremely pissed off right now because the stupidity of some people (in work and personal life) is really getting to me lately, and it pisses me off even more because so many people tell me Im a bad driver, or that I am stupid

Rant over

Sorry your having a bad day. I would say though, that anywhere near the FL Mall is going to be rough. A lot of traffic. A lot of people going to work, shopping. And a lot of tourists who may or may not know how to drive or know where they are going.

Add that all together and its the reason why most accidents in Orange county probably take place on Sand Lake, somewhere.

I will be alright. I think I am just going to avoid OBT for now on unless its real late at night and nearly nobody is on the road, that seems to be the only time driving on OBT isn't too bad, I'll just drive on John Young for now on

What scares me is the place I nearly had an accident today was the same area I had an accident too weeks ago when it was raining

Growing up in PA, I hit 3 different deer when I first got my drivers license at 16. Guess where it was? The same exact place each time, about a mile from my parents house.

Maybe the deer in my story drunk the same water as the people in yours.

All the best.

Try living in Atlanta GA - day after day, I pray that my 17 yr old is safe and will not get into an accident. The worst drivers I have ever encountered live here and I have driven in WA, CA, NV, TX, FL and now GA. Just keep a smile on your face - it helps me

A speed limit is how fast you can go.Not how fast you have to go.

I stayed in Atlanta for a week. Driving at all hours, day and night, and it was a joke compared to Tampa on a Monday afternoon. Atlanta traffic: rumor. And Orlando has the worst driving I've ever seen... And some of the funniest driving stories.

I typically drive about 5 over the speed limit. It sooo funny...when I lived in Orlando I used to take I-4 to work everyday, from around the John Young exit to the Disney area. I felt like I was constantly "avoiding" cars going much slower than I was.

Now, I live in San Diego, and when I drive *only* 5 over I feel like I'm the ones holding people up on the highway, so I typically stay in the right lane. There's basically no traffic cops here, and most people seem to drive 10-15 over. Still...I'm paranoid, so 5 over is enough for me!

It's amazing how much drivers differ in two different areas.
