If we rent a townhome in a community that is "gated" how does that work? It seems that we would get a card that opens the gate. But what about guest? Does someone have to be waiting at the gate?

You will get a card for yourself (or something to attach to your windshield). You will also have a code. When you have a guest, that person can either scroll on the machine for your name and/or type in your code. You will then receive a phone call. If you approve, the gate will open.
