This is the AYRO Vanish which is an electric kei truck meant for local deliveries. It's under 13 feet long and can haul 1,200 pounds. As a low-speed vehicle with fairly short range and AC charging, it has pretty limited use, but there are probably some niches it's well-suited for.

Very interesting. I have seen this bed design where the bed walls fold down on foreign designed trucks before. I think that is so smart, and I don't know why American trucks don't do that. You're able to stand right next to the bed and easily reach into that load floor from 3 sides. It makes it much easier to reach into the bed and it also greatly reduces the lifting height to get objects into or out of the bed. I'd much rather lift heavy stuff 3ft than 5 ft!

While it would have less capacity, presumably a smaller truck costs a lot less - so there's an advantage. And in urban areas where you can have tight alleys and/or overcrowded streets to maneuver through, and parking space may be very limited, there the compact dimensions will be an asset too.

Just be aware, street legal LSV's, although marketed as "meeting federal FMVSS No. 500 as a street legal vehicle" does not mean it will be legally allowed to be licensed or operated on public streets in a specific state or even jurisdiction in that state. Some states have not incorporated LSV's into their regulations so the have no mechanism to title, register or license LSVs. Other states limit it to the consent of the local governing body. One town may allow them on roads not to exceed 35 mph, the next town won't allow them on their streets at all.
