Looks like they might not be around much longer in the US Market.
I have no experience with Suzukis--so what is wrong with them?
"Chrysler was down by 8.3 percent while Suzuki continues to demonstrate that they are not long for the US market as sales slid by nearly 72 percent. After one quarter of sales, Suzuki has sold just 5661 units stateside. Ouch."
I don't mind them at all. Of course if you are looking for luxury you'll be sadly disappointed. I had a little Geo Metro that had the Suzuki drivetrain and it got great mileage and was dependable as anything I have ever driven. Never put a dime into that vehicle and gave it away with 140,000 miles on it a few years ago (friend needed a car badly and didn't have the means to get one). Talked to him last week and it is still going strong.

Suzuki had plenty of bad press with their rollover prone SideKick. Didn't see Suzuki for a while. When they returned, they came back with rebadged Daewoo cars. Daewoo failed in America and Suzuki tried to bring them back. Suzuki didn't have their own vehicle until the SX4 and this new midsize sedan that looks ok. It was suppose to get GM's 3.6 liter V6 engine but that didn't happen.
The new Kizashi sport sedan is supposed to be pretty nice, kind of like a better Jetta. Only problem is that it looks like an overstyled Jetta in front, and a more boring Jetta from the side.
