Contentment consists not in adding more fuel, but in taking away some fire.

A very timely proverb indeed. Thanks for this Misty. I'm feeling like it's time to kick a couple of logs off of the fire. I supposed that means I'm content "enough" with all the work we've done around this place this year. LOL

My interpretation is this......Being content means that you no longer feel you have to drive yourself toward that goal.....you're satisfied with where you're at right now and content. You're not having to prove anything or add more fuel to the fire to strive for a big accomplishment...time to turn the burner to low and let things simmer for a while.....basking in the glow.

Contentment cannot be achieved merely by the accumulation of more things, but more so in your learning to take the time to enjoy the blessings of what you have.
