SCG, u must not have kids, I think when I had my first I realized I can't even go to the toilet in peace. I think I am now so immune to it I don't notice it at all anymore. It is not a peeve for me, but a way of life

The talking doesn't bother me much...its the walking into the bathroom while I am busy. I get no respect, lol. It would most likely help if I locked the door
I don't remember anyone pestering me while I was in the bathroom but let me get into a telephone conversation and that's when the kids would come running with one thing or another.
Public bathrooms are another thing and while in the (mens room) there is hardly ever any conversations with each other. I guess it’s a mans thing, “no talking†to each other. However, I’ve been in the public restroom and heard voices coming from behind those closed doors. It seems that there are some people who like to “talk†on their cell phones while doing their thing. I personally don’t want anyone to talk with me on a cell phone from a bathroom. Please, give me a brake, can you use your cell phone while driving like most people ( ) instead of while taking a dump?
Please don't drive and use the cell phone!
Please don't call me from the bathroom!
And for god's sake "wash your hands" when your finish!

I am so with you on this peeve! I have ran into my coworkers in the ladies room and they would continue to chat with me while I'm ... er ... um ... taking care of business.
1. It's a personal, private moment which I don't wish to share with anyone.
2. I cannot even HEAR YOU through the stall/can't understand what you are even saying ... Please wait patiently until I exit the stall THEN we can chat.
