Is there one still on your washing machine?
Am I the only one?
If so, do you think you'll ever remove it?

Oh, mine came off the minute the washer came thru the door! I have to laugh, tho, because I was at a neighbor's house this weekend and it's still on hers.

I like it on there. I can still pretend the units are new.

I assume you mean the Energy Savings tags. Energy Efficiency ratios and such. I'd pull them off immediately and try to forget. "Energy Star" rated appliances I will steer away from in the future. While I'm all for energy savings and more efficient appliances there's a problem. The manufacturers are doing away with extremely dependable parts used for many many years. In place they are using cheap crap parts with about a 1year life span. They're also way under powered to achieve the savings. We need true efficiency with dependability too! I have left the film covers on the control panels of our new Maytag washer/Dryer. They're about 3 or 4 years old.
