Maybe its because I've entered my 50's and I'm looking back as we all tend to do, or maybe its because my mom is now gone and I have no other relatives, probably both. Anyway, it makes me sad looking back at the more simple times of the past. The high tech gadget are nice, the internet an amazing resource, but I feel while we have progressed in some ways, we have lost something too, that being the simple good times families used to share. I think some families today still have that closeness, they raise their children well, and enjoy each other company like they used to. Still its a different world now overall. I know pple tend to look back with the rose colored glasses, I know there were many problems then too, and in some ways things are better now. Still kids had an innocence they don't seem to have today, and I see that as a real loss.

as far as the new cars, Lisa....I'm like you, I can't tell one turtle from another!

If you want to find out how much the item you bought then would cost now, take a look at this. http://www.usinflationcalculator.com/
